We are a simple, fun, and easy-going family. We spend a lot of time together, most of it being at home. We love God and hope to portray His love to others. Enjoy Our Life!

Good morning!
Me Too!
We are having a great day. It is sunny and the snow is mostly melted. I am still amazed it lasted for four days. Addie got a new potty yesterday and has a renewed interest in using it. She was doing great for about a month, but then seemed to give up. I was ready to also, until I had to go buy more diapers after not buying them for 1.5 months. We bought a potty instead, it cost about what a box of diapers costs. Mike seems to be in good spirits, but very busy. He called yesterday morning and this morning. It was an unexpected treat. I gave Wyatt a haircut this morning and everyone jumped in the shower, literally. They are so cute in all their robes, I will try and take a picture next time.

A Tad Lonely
Well Mike has been gone almost the entire month. We are all doing well, but are a little lonely. Mike will be gone most of February and a month soon after that. I am doing a new Beth Moore bible study, at home, that has been a great blessing. God is really talking to me. Only good things will come from all this. Time will fly and soon enough Mike will be in 20 years and eligible for retirement. We look forward to a slower life and a less demanding job. Also, I filed our taxes this morning and we should be getting a refund soon, yeah! I am writing this mostly to keep family updated, to vent, and to keep Mike updated when he returns from training. I am not really a blogger, but thought it would work well when he deploys again.
Addie was so cute yesterday, she said goodnight to Mike on his voicemail, but she thought he was really on the phone. She told him her famous joke, "Why did the chicken cross the road?" I said, "Why Addie." She said, "To get to the other side" and laughed hysterically. Then she instantly said, "he not laugh." I died laughing realizing she thought Daddy was on the phone and how smart she was to pick up on that.
Mackenzie made a snowman over the last couple days. She came in and asked for some grapes for it's face. I gave her raisins for the mouth, carrot for the nose, and two goldfish crackers for the eyes. I told her I would take a picture when she was done. She came in chewing something and told me that the goldfish crackers and raisins wouldn't stabilize, so I asked her if she decided to eat them, she laughed and said yes.
Wyatt told me last night that his foot tickled, but no one was tickling it, that it felt like it was snoring and made a snoring noise. What a cute way to say his foot fell asleep. He is really doing great at his "school". He learns so much from Mackenzie. He is Mr. Sports and loves anything rough.
