I had told him no twice already. His plan was to wait until I left for 1 minute. Stinker.
We are a simple, fun, and easy-going family. We spend a lot of time together, most of it being at home. We love God and hope to portray His love to others. Enjoy Our Life!

Now I don't even need to use if today, since I got such a good workout bringing it in from the garage. I really don't like it there, but it shall stay for now.

Thanks Mack
She cleaned our drawer without being asked and didn't want anything for cleaning it either! Such a sweet helper.
I still fit!
I think Cody just wanted to make sure he still fits. When I walked in the kitchen, he was running the water too. Maybe he just wanted a bath :)
Ice cream flavor...
Twins
The kids read a book, unknown to Mike and me, where the kids dressed and acted like their parents. Wyatt and Addie decided to try it out. I got a little too much sun, hence the red face.
Hat
I fixed Addie's doll dress this morning. When I got back from putting the sewing machine away, this is what I found. Thanks for trying it out Cody.

Laundry Basket Dresser

Mackenzie ripped out Addie's closet shelf twice now, so instead of hanging it again for a third time we made this handy piece of furniture.
The kids' dresser were trashed, so we ditched them about a year ago. New dressers cost a small fortune, over $2,000 for all four, and by the time we bought cheap ones, $50 isn't really cheap, and the kids trashed those every year, we would be spending a ton. There was no room for two dressers and two beds in each room either. A near catastrophe with a the girls' bunk beds plus the extremely high cost of bunk beds ruled that option out too. It is amazing how much quality furniture costs.
I had a brain storm, we could install wire shelves for about $30 for both closets. We installed the lower shelves for the two younger kiddos and started hanging all their clothes. Wow, we had no idea what a pain this would become. I should have known that shelves make good step stools for reaching toys.
I found these plans at Ana-white.com. They are really cheap and super sturdy, plus we put our wood skills to good use. Addie is thrilled she doesn't have to hang her clothes anymore, I think the others are envious. Now I need to build a replacement for the broken bookshelf upstairs. We are going to build Cody a toddler bed too. We are also in the process of building a beautiful hall tree for our entry, I am thinking heavy stud mounts.
Good theory

Mack's gift
From a sweet woman we met at the Christmas tree stand/shop, not sure what you call it. She sent a Christmas card and Mack sent her something back. Mack got this today. Very sweet. She was so impressed with Mackenzie's kindness.
Library cart

I finally took pictures. I cut all the wood, did the rounded sides, and cut the handles. I put half together and Mike finished it. It is super convenient. I am thinking of building a much smaller one, in length, for the kids and using this for homeschool books. Then we can just wheel it to our table.
