A friend of mine posted something similar. As the last day of March is here. I was thinking about the last few Marches we have had:
1. March 2007, We were in WI, Addie was only 2 months old, and Mike was deployed.
2. March 2008, We were living on post and Mike was still on the same deployment.
3. March 2009, We are living in our new home and Mike is gone again to Louisiana.
4. March 2010, We should be living in the same house (amazing!) and Mike will be deployed again.
Many moves and houses later. I guess the only thing that remains the same is that Mike is not here. Sorry for the complaining, but I just had a horrible case of the stomach flu yesterday and am on the mend today. I am just praying the kids do not get it. I forget how awful it feels and thank God that He gave me the perfect amount of strength to make it through the day and night. He supplied all my needs and is always there. So I guess that is the most important thing that does not change that God is always here for us and that he doesn't leave us (we can't loose Him like we loose things every move). Amen!! He is so faithful and Amazing!!! Praise the LORD!!!
We are a simple, fun, and easy-going family. We spend a lot of time together, most of it being at home. We love God and hope to portray His love to others. Enjoy Our Life!

Empty bed
Well Mike left last night before midnight. He made it to Louisiana safe. Back to corn dogs, mac and cheese, and frozen pizza. Seriously, this time I am going to try and cook regular meals. I hit about 50%, which isn't bad. We did get a garden box finished and fenced in. I have pictures, but haven't downloaded them yet. I am sure I will blog more, so Mike can read it when he gets home. Take care. Michelle

Seasons
I get a homeschooling magazine that was focused on the seasons of life. I have really been thinking about that lately. Especially with the beautiful spring weather coming and the added sunshine each day. What a blessing we have in Our Father. He has been teaching me so many things. I am seeing my kids and my husband in a new light. It is great. I had been going through a dark and dreary season, but now the flowers are blooming. Amen!!
Truly trusting in the Lord for my daily needs has been simply miraculous. We, mostly me, recently made a bad decision about a new truck for Mike. I did not go against Mike, but neither one of us were peaceful about the decision. Especially since it was so against what we had agreed to years ago. You know the American way, bigger, newer, and more debt, but Mike and I know God's way: The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower [is] servant to the lender Proverbs 22:7. Well I am not condemning anyone for debt, we have a mortgage and a vehicle loan, but adding more, especially now, would not be wise. I was praying to God about the decision and waiting for an answer. After taking three little kids to buy a truck, without Mike, amazingly they can do it all over the phone without a POA (I did bring paperwork for him to sign), we changed our minds. Or rather we came to our senses. The truck was more than we needed and expensive. I was wondering why I didn't get a direct answer from God and it dawned on me His Word already has several answers on the subject, plus the lack of peace can be an answer in itself. Well God used Mike to save us and it felt great to rest in Him and to see my husband (and of course God) as a hero. I was praying that God would give Mike the strength to make his decision and to stick to it despite the devil's games; and my prayers were answered. It was great to see Mike so bold and confident. Also, the next day Mike's truck died at work, right before an important meeting (of course he was late). Thankfully it was just a battery, so I packed up the kids and bought a battery and brought it to Mike. Easy fix and only $72. Thank God for always coming through even on the little things. What a Wonderful
Father we have. Amen!
